San Pedro JUMPS UP For Belize’s 33rd Birthday Independence Day Parade, Part Two

September 21st is San Pedro’s biggest parade of the year and I have lots more pictures.  If you didn’t see yesterday’s post with the pre-parade and the start, check it out.

Let’s continue with San Pedro’s amazing September 21st parade…and the hibiscus flowers and hummingbirds of The Island Academy.

Part Two.

There was quite a crowd at the beginning turn.  A few hundred people standing on the shade side of the street and zero people on the other side.

This crew was so fun and I took their pic on practically every street in San Pedro.

On Front Street they were joined by Telenovela star Shelley.  Strike a pose.

Kids, despite the incredibly loud music, were falling asleep left and right.  Super cute to me.

Okay…back to the parade.

And then in the back, two people that should win some sort of awards for dancing non-stop in these costumes in the heat with smiles on their faces.
